AFTER A SUCCESSFUL JOBS BRIDGING EVENT IN THE PROVINCE OF BOHOL the previous day, Secretary Joel Villanueva sailed to Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental to spearhead the TESDA Jobs Bridging in the said province dubbed as "Hanapbuhay para sa TESDA Specialista". The program was the second of a continuing series of Jobs Bridging in Region 7. During the event, Sec Joel distributed wielding equipment to successful TESDA Specialistas as their starter kit after undergoing the self-employment program of the C4TP. Bais City Mayor Karen Villanueva, accompanied Sec Joel in entire duration of the event.
"Pagkatapos natin mag-agahan sa Tagbilaran City, ngayon ay manananghalian tayo dito sa Dumaguete City at mamayang gabi tayo po ay maghahapunan sa Cebu City para lamang tuloy-tuloy ang ating pagsi-serbisyo at pagiging relevant ng ating minamahal na ahensiya.... Ang TESDA ay gumagawa ng mga hakbang upang patuloy na mapalakas ang ating mid-level work force at magkaroon ng disenting pamumuhay."
