SECRETARY JOEL VILLANUEVA led today's opening ceremony at the TEMASEK Foundation - ITE Education Services Leaders Program for the TESDA Regional and Provincial/District Directors. The training program is the second leg of the collaborative partnership among TESDA, Temasek Foundation, and ITE Education Services (ITEES). 50 directors selected from the agency's regional and provincial offices all over the country will train for 21 days in Manila and Singapore starting this month. Singapore Ambassador Hirubalan VP and TEMASEK Foundation Board Member and Jollibee CEO Mr. Tony Tan Caktiong also graced the opening ceremony.

"We need this “Leadership for Change Training Program” to sustain our call for relevance. Training and encouraging our TVET leaders will impact greatly on our aspiration to help every Filipino enter the world of work with confidence. Our managers and executives have a lot to accomplish in providing enough elbowroom for Filipino workers to continue to grow, prepare them for life-long learning, and ensure their mobility in the world of work."
