SEC JOEL VILLANUEVA, chief of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) led the Donors’ Ceremony in Barangay Bad-as, Placer, Surigao del Norte. The provincial government of Surigao del Norte headed by Governor Sol Matugas, and Vice-Governor Arturo Carlos Egay, Jr. was in full force including the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
The Donors’ Ceremony underscores TESDA’s resolve to partner with public and private institutions to bolster tech-voc in the respective regions. The ceremony’s highlight was the awarding of Laptop units and IT equipment from Ms. Dominga Mallonga, DOST Caraga Regional Director, and construction equipment through Aristoteles Celera, Jr. Processing Supt., Greenstone Resources Corporation to the provincial community training center to be used in the training facility.
Sec Joel also handed over 3 million worth of scholarship for the training center.
