Over 100 TESDA Executive, Regional and Provincial Directors led by the Authority’s Secretary and Deputy Directors General attended the First National Directorate + Provincial Directors’ Conference of 2016 on February 2-3, 2016 at the TESDA Women’s Center in Taguig.  
Included among the topics discussed during the Conference were: TESDA’s 2016 Directions and Priorities; 21st Century Skills, Bundling of Qualifications and Higher Level Qualifications; Assistance to Micro-, Small-, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs); Industry Boards; Capacity Building for Assessment and Certification; STAR Rating, Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC), East Asia Summit – Technical Vocational Education and Training (EAS-TVET) Quality Assurance Framework; Philippine National and ASEAN Skills Competitions; Management Development Programs and Validations of Competency Standards for Regional and Provincial Directors; Prioritization of 74 Qualifications for TR Development; Physical Accomplishment and 2016 OPCR; Budget Utilization and 2016 Budget and, TTIs Operations in the Context of Area Management.
