Welcome to the e-TESDA, your gateway to a whole new world of information, to learning online, and to rich communication and collaboration across vast distances.
e-TESDA is the Tek-Bok, Industriya, Trabaho Online (TITO) Engine--- the engine that will shape our future, breaking barriers of space and time, and creating a global marketplace where human capital becomes the prime mover of future economic growth.
e-TESDA is powered by TESDA Add-Pwersa--- the massing of positive forces, the steady expansion of critical mass.
A confluence of events has brought these forces together as co-creators under one tech-voc movement. TESDA plus. TESDA Add Pwersa. The power of TESDA multiplied several times over to create synergy.
e-TESDA is home to the Filipino Worker of the World. It is testimony to the fact that the future belongs to creativity, entrepreneurship, tech-voc, and science.
Welcome to e-TESDA….the future begins today!

News/Events
It’s a double launching for Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) today, April 30 at the Heroes Hall of Malacañang as Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo unveils e-TESDA and FAST. Both projects open the doors to TESDA courses not just to high school graduates, but to other sectors as well such as OFWs, out-of-school youth, and persons with disabilities among others.
TESDA Director General Augusto “Boboy” Syjuco leads 500 guests mostly from TESDA-accredited training institutions collectively called AddPwersa.
Department of Labor and Employment Sec. Arturo Brion is also present to introduce Her Excellency when GMA delivers the keynote address.
As a testament to her 8 by ’08 agenda, which includes quality education and job creation, GMA awards e-TESDA Scholarship Certificates under the PGMA-Training for Work Scholarship Program (PGMA-TWSP) being implemented through TESDA.
TESDA Goes Cyber!
TESDA keeps up with the ICT age and introduces e-TESDA, a web portal that carries TESDA’s training, in full online and blended learning modes, and other services electronically.
Cyberstudents click through their lessons guided by virtual facilitators. The online infrastructure gives immediate feedback on tests after every lesson. Interaction with fellow students is still present via emails, forum, and chats.
Initially, e-services to be offered are career profiling, registration of training programs, job matching and referral, and e-information that leads to databases of certified trainers/assessors, sea-based and land-based registry of workers, employment data of graduates, registered programs, and assessment centers.
The system is most convenient for those currently employed but would like to take tech-voc courses to further enrich their knowledge and skills. “This is a notable improvement in instruction delivery. Students can study at their own time and pace. e-TESDA also hastens the results of personality, aptitude, and occupational tests that aid career guidance services while the online registration streamlines a number of processes,” explains Syjuco.
FAST Assessment! FAST Certification!
Before one can avail of TESDA courses, one has to go through assessment of credentials and qualifications. This is part of the stringent procedure implemented to would-be TESDA students.
Assessment is an important step to determine the level of qualifications of a student. This eliminates unnecessary subjects and gages what higher courses can be enrolled.
Moreover, assessment and certification makes job-ready individuals formally recognized – a useful credit when they apply for advance courses or work.
In an effort to provide its courses to more people, TESDA is giving the assessment and certification services for free through a special project billed PGMA – Free Assessment Services by TESDA (FAST).
With PGMA-FAST, even poor but deserving students and workers can avail of TESDA courses, thereby widening the number of beneficiaries.
FAST applications are now being accepted at all TESDA Regional and Provincial Offices and TESDA Assessment Centers.
