POSITION: TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST I

OFFICE: PROJECT DEVELOPMENT DIVISION (PDD), PLANNING OFFICE (PO), TESDA CENTRAL OFFICE
SALARY: SG- 13 (PhP 31,320.00) PERA: P2,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

8 % - Assists in the preparation of budget proposals, work and financial plans and periodic reports of the Division; 20 % - Assists in the gathering of date and conducts researches as inputs to international and regional programs and activities of APEC, ASEAN, SEAMO, ASEM, ADB, WB, RECOTVET, ILO, CPSC, WTO, RCEP, and other UN bodies, among others; 17 % - Assists in the monitoring and implementation of technical cooperation programs/projects; 17 % - Assists in the initiation and/or approval of agreements/understanding/technical cooperation with other countries related to TVET, in coordination with appropriate offices; 10 % - Provides support to technical cooperation of TESD programs/projects and other local and international bilateral labor arrangements, including Missions/Exposure Visits and/or conferences; 10 % - Provides technical support to policy, planning and research capability build-up programs; 15 % - Prepares/Drafts communications, reports, briefers, minutes and highlights or meetings, and documentation reports; and 3 % - Performs other related functions as may be assigned.

  • Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • Accomplishments/Achievements done during the last three (3) years to be endorsed by the Head of Office;
  • List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details and email addresses for the following categories:
    • Superior
    • Peers
    • Subordinates (if applicable)
    • Clients (if applicable)
  • Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma;
  • Authenticated copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC;
  • Certificate of Completion on TESDA’s Online Course entitled “Practicing COVID 19 Preventive Measures in the Workplace”;
  • Awards related to Performance (proof of evidences in the form of citation, medal, plaque, for awards/rewards received) (if applicable);
  • Expert Services (Resource Person/Speaker/Moderator/Panelist) (if applicable); and
  • Committees/ TWGs Participation (proof of evidences in the form of memorandum, office order, and/or certification/certificates) (if applicable)
