POSITION: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER I

OFFICE: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS DIVISION (ITOD), INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY OFFICE (ICTO), TESDA CENTRAL OFFICE
SALARY: SG-19 (PhP 51,357.00) PERA: P2,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

15 % - Design, implement, maintain, and monitor ICT infrastructure health using developed monitoring tools, and analyze if there is a performance degradation in any components of the ICT infrastructure, inclusive of necessary documentation or report about it; 15 % - Develop, deploy, monitor, manage, and maintain the components of the ICT network facilities of the agency, e.g., DNS, IP allocation, and firewalls, including its data centers and disaster recovery sites, under the supervision of the ITO II; 10 % - Develop, implement, and maintain the IT maintenance audit system for all IT assets of the TESDA Central Office compound; 10 % - Assists ITO II in performing the hardening of the Operating Systems for both servers and workstations as advised by the IT Security and Compliance Officers; 10 % - Assists the Chief ITOD in defining the ICT incident and problem management processes of the agency, including conducting first-level responses for ICT service interruption and degradations; 5 % - Ensures that all ICT maintenance tasks delegated to the Computer Maintenance Technologists are correctly documented in the ICTO knowledgebase; 5 % - Monitor logs and submit the same to the ITPMD for audit and compliance inspections; 5 % - Maintain and optimize the agency’s directory services. Ensure that user accounts are accounted for, are provisioned based on their job functions, and are disabled when the personnel leave the agency; 5 % - Initially troubleshooting all issues escalated to them by the Technical Support Group led by the CMT III; 5 % - Formulate and recommend the approval of the ICTO Technical Support Scope in line with the agency’s authorized software operating environment; 5 % - Prepare technical documentation and troubleshooting manuals for critical elements of the ICT infrastructure; 5 % - Monitor the activities of the technical support team when deploying ICT solutions to offices and external stakeholders; ad 5 % - Perform such other duties as may be assigned to him or her.

  • Expert Services (Resource Person/Speaker/Moderator/Panelist) (if applicable); and
  • Committees/ TWGs Participation (proof of evidences in the form of memorandum, office order, and/or certification/certificates) (if applicable)
