POSITION: CHIEF TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

SALARY: SG-24 (PhP 90,078.00) PERA: P2,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

15 % - Supervises and coordinates the programs, activities, and personnel of the TWC; 10 % - Performs monitoring and evaluation of the effective implementation of training programs/projects and services; 10 % - Conducts performance evaluation and performance targets and appraisal of all TWC staff members; 5 % - Recommends measures for policy formulation and effective and efficient operations of the TWC; 5 % - Provides technical advice to trainers related to competency-based training principles mainstreaming GAD in TVET; 5 % - Ensures systems, processes and standards are applied in training delivery; 5 % - Prepares work and financial plans, accomplishment reports and other relevant training-related documents; 5 % - Maintain active participation of TWC Advisory Council members in policy formulation and recommendations; 5 % - Supervises the conduct of continuing research and development related to Dender and Development Competency-Based Learning delivery, environmental protection, TVET technologies and practices to include 21st Century Skills and other latest trends related to the TVET Sector; 5 % - Strengthen partnership with public and private sector linkages; 5 % - Maintains national and international recognition and accreditation of TWC; 5 % - Serves as the Chair of the TESDA GAD Focal Point System Secretariat; 5 % - Responsible for maintaining the GADTimpala Award of TESDA (most gender-responsive government agency); 5 % - Responsible in the capacity development of regional GFPS members and TWG members in GAD Planning and budgeting, gender analysis GAD Mainstreaming and gender sensitivity; 5 % - Facilitates and coordinates the implementation of gender mainstreaming efforts of TESDA through GAD planning and budgeting; and 5 % - Performs other related functions as maybe assigned by immediate supervisor.


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HIREE ARE:

Education: Master’s Degree OR Certificate in Leadership and Management form the CSC Experience: 4 years of supervisory/management experience Training: 40 hours of supervisory/management training Eligibility: Career Service Professional / Second Level Eligibility

  • Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details and email addresses for the following categories:
    • Superior
    • Peers
    • Subordinates (if applicable)
    • Clients (if applicable)
  • Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma;
  • Authenticated copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC;
  • Awards related to Performance (proof of evidences in the form of citation, medal, plaque, for awards/rewards received) (if applicable);
  • Expert Services (Resource Person/Speaker/Moderator/Panelist) (if applicable); and
  • Committees/ TWGs Participation (proof of evidences in the form of memorandum, office order, and/or certification/certificates) (if applicable)
