POSITION: CHIEF TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST (RE-OPEN)

SALARY: SG-24 (PhP 102,603.00) PERA: P2,000.00 RATA: P10,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

20 % - Supervises and coordinates the operation and activities of the Division; 20 % - Reviews and finalizes policy recommendation on TVET for approval of higher authorities; 20 % - Provides technical services and staff advice on TVET to Voctech Institute, Industries, Workers organization, LGUs, NGOs, and other related stakeholders; 10 % - Ensure active multi sectoral participation of all concerned public and private agencies on TVET; 10 % - Manages the programs, projects and activities of the Division; 10 % - As process owner of the Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System (UTPRAS) under National Quality Management System (QMS) structure, ensure the compliance of the Regional, Provincial Offices and the TESDA Training Institutions; 5 % - Manages establishments and sustainability of network of TESD stakeholders and partners in the development of TESD programs; and 5 % - Manages the establishment and maintenance of a system of maintaining and publishing the compendium of registered programs.


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HIREE ARE:

Education: Master’s degree OR Certificate in Leadership and Management from the CSC Experience: 4 years of supervisory/management experience Training: 40hours of supervisory/management learning and development intervention Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/ Second Level Eligibility

  • Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details and email addresses for the following categories:
    • Superior
    • Peers
    • Subordinates (if applicable)
    • Clients (if applicable)
  • Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma;
  • Authenticated copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC;
  • Awards related to Performance (proof of evidences in the form of citation, medal, plaque, for awards/rewards received) (if applicable);
  • Expert Services (Resource Person/Speaker/Moderator/Panelist) (if applicable); and
  • Committees/ TWGs Participation (proof of evidences in the form of memorandum, office order, and/or certification/certificates) (if applicable)
