Through an agreement between TESDA and the Civil Service Commission, a new CSC field office was inaugurated last November 20 at the TESDA Complex in Taguig City.

TESDA Deputy Director General for Partnerships and Linkages Rebecca Calzado led the simple ceremony together with Civil Service Commission Chairperson Alicia dela Rosa-Bala.

“Opening its doors for the CSC to hold offices within the complex is testament to TESDA’s willingness to share resources with other government agencies,” said DDG Calzado during the program that followed at the TESDA Women’s Center.

“While this may facilitate the Authority’s own transactions with the Commission, it will likewise make it easier and faster for branches of other agencies along the southern corridors of the Metro to access the CSC’s services,” added the TESDA deputy.

“Partnership is the key to maximizing resources.  So please convey our gratitude to Secretary Guiling Mamondiong for TESDA’s very positive acceptance of our request.  It is our hope that our new site will send the message to our stakeholders of our sincerity to provide them with the very best services that they truly deserve,” said CSC Chairperson Alicia dela Rosa-Bala in response.

The newly inaugurated CSC Field office is expected to improve the Commission’s potential to render services as its location at the TESDA Complex is more easily accessible and offers enhanced communications and information technology capabilities.

Also present during the event were TESDA Deputy Director General for Communities and Local Government Units Diosdado Padilla, CSC Commissioners Robert Martinez and Leopoldo Roberto Valderosa, and other officials and staff from both agencies.
