Education leaders convene to review the Workforce Development Plan

Government, industry, and education leaders convened to review the Workforce Development Plan and ensure their alignment with the directives of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

The discussions included sector updates and proposed interventions on advanced manufacturing, digital technology, and healthcare, and the continuous strengthening of the Philippine education sector to produce a multi-skilled and job-ready workforce.

Present during the meeting were TESDA Secretary Kiko Benitez, Education Secretary Sonny Angara, CHED Commissioner Ethel Agnes Valenzuela, EDCOM 2 Executive Director Karol Mark Yee, and other education stakeholders.
