TESDA braces for a new year of showcasing skilled talent as the country's finest young, skilled professionals will compete in 30 industry-driven skill areas when WorldSkills Philippines Clark 2026 takes place from September 7 to 11, 2026, at the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga.
Reinforcing the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority's (TESDA) commitment to producing globally competitive Filipino talent, the competition carries the theme "Your Skills, Your Future", and will gather around 350 competitors, each a top qualifier from their region's Skills Olympics.
TESDA Secretary Kiko Benitez said the breadth of competition areas reflects the agency's continuing efforts to align technical vocational education and training (TVET) with global standards and the evolving needs of industry.
"WorldSkills is a spectacle of Filipino talent, as we gather the nation’s most skilled youth in one big competition. Through WorldSkills, we inspire excellence, innovation, and lifelong learning,” Sec. Kiko said. “With 30 skill areas, we are showcasing the diverse talents of Filipino youth while preparing them to compete and succeed on the global stage.”
WorldSkills Philippines serves as the country's premier platform for identifying the next generation of Filipino champions who will represent the Philippines in regional and international WorldSkills competitions.
The 30 competition areas span six major industry sectors aligned with current and emerging workforce demands.
Under Information and Communication Technology, competitors will demonstrate expertise in Cyber Security, ICT Network Infrastructure, IT Network Systems Administration, Software Applications Development, Web Technologies, and Artificial Intelligence.
The Manufacturing and Engineering Technology category features Additive Manufacturing, CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Mechanical Engineering CAD, Mechatronics, Welding, Industrial Control, Electronics, and Prototype Modelling, highlighting advanced manufacturing technologies that continue to drive industrial innovation.
For Construction and Building Technology, participants will compete in Electrical Installations, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Heating, Wall and Floor Tiling, and Carpentry, showcasing technical competencies essential to the country's infrastructure and construction sectors.
The Social and Personal Services category includes Cooking, Bakery, Beauty Therapy, Hotel Reception, Restaurant Service, and Hairdressing, reflecting the growing demand for highly skilled professionals in hospitality, tourism, and personal services.
Meanwhile, Creative Arts and Fashion will feature competitions in 3D Digital Game Art, Fashion Technology, and Graphic Design Technology, recognizing the increasing importance of creativity, digital innovation, and design in today's economy.
Completing the lineup is Transportation and Logistics, with Automobile Technology highlighting the technical expertise required to support the country's rapidly evolving mobility and automotive industries.
Formerly known as the Philippine National Skills Competition, WorldSkills Philippines now fully aligns with the standards and framework of WorldSkills International, strengthening the country's participation in the global skills movement. The competition also promotes quality, productivity, innovation, and stronger collaboration between government, industry, and training institutions while benchmarking Filipino skills against international standards.
WorldSkills Philippines Clark 2026 directly addresses President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s directive to equip Filipino workers with globally competitive and industry-aligned skills.
30 kasanayan, isang entablado: WorldSkills Philippines Clark 2026
Naghahanda ang TESDA para sa panibagong taon ng pagpapakita ng husay at talento ng mga Pilipino, kung saan maglalaban-laban ang pinakamahusay na kabataang skilled professionals ng bansa sa 30 larangan ng kasanayang nakaayon sa pangangailangan ng industriya sa WorldSkills Philippines Clark 2026, na gaganapin mula Setyembre 7 hanggang 11, 2026, sa Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.
Bilang pagpapatibay sa commitment ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) na makalikha ng mga Pilipinong may kasanayang pasok sa pandaigdigang pamantayan, taglay ng kompetisyon ang temang “Your Skills, Your Future.” Tinatayang 350 kalahok ang magtatagisan ng husay, na pawang mga nangungunang qualifier mula sa Skills Olympics ng kani-kanilang rehiyon.
Ayon kay TESDA Secretary Kiko Benitez, ipinapakita ng lawak ng mga larangan sa kompetisyon ang patuloy na pagsisikap ng ahensya na iayon ang technical vocational education and training (TVET) sa pandaigdigang pamantayan at sa nagbabagong pangangailangan ng industriya.

Ang WorldSkills Philippines ang pangunahing plataporma ng bansa sa pagtukoy sa susunod na henerasyon ng mga kampeon na Pilipino na kakatawan sa Pilipinas sa mga rehiyonal at pandaigdigang kompetisyon ng WorldSkills.
Saklaw ng 30 larangan ng kompetisyon ang anim na pangunahing sektor ng industriya na nakaayon sa kasalukuyan at umuusbong na pangangailangan sa paggawa.
Sa Information and Communication Technology, ipapakita ng mga kalahok ang kanilang kaalaman at kasanayan sa Cyber Security, ICT Network Infrastructure, IT Network Systems Administration, Software Applications Development, Web Technologies, at Artificial Intelligence.

Samantala, tampok sa Creative Arts and Fashion ang 3D Digital Game Art, Fashion Technology, at Graphic Design Technology, na kumikilala sa lumalaking papel ng pagkamalikhain, digital innovation, at disenyo sa ekonomiya ngayon.
Kumukumpleto sa hanay ang Transportation and Logistics, kung saan tampok ang Automobile Technology na nangangailangan ng teknikal na husay upang suportahan ang mabilis na pagbabago sa mobility at automotive industries ng bansa.
Dating tinatawag na Philippine National Skills Competition, ang WorldSkills Philippines ay ganap nang nakaayon sa mga pamantayan at balangkas ng WorldSkills International, na nagpapalakas sa partisipasyon ng Pilipinas sa pandaigdigang kilusan para sa skills development.
Itinataguyod din ng kompetisyon ang kalidad, productivity, inobasyon, at mas matibay na ugnayan sa pagitan ng pamahalaan, industriya, at mga training institution, habang itinatapat ang kasanayan ng mga Pilipino sa pandaigdigang pamantayan.
Ang WorldSkills Philippines Clark 2026 ay bahagi rin ng pagtugon sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na bigyang-kakayahan ang mga manggagawang Pilipino sa pamamagitan ng mga kasanayang globally competitive at nakaayon sa pangangailangan ng industriya.
